Job Description

This part-time orthopedic surgeon role offers an hourly compensation of $200-250, commensurate with experience, requiring travel between multiple PA offices (Harrisburg, Reading, Lancaster, York).

  • Responsibilities include overseeing diagnosis and treatment of occupational and motor vehicle injuries, preparing patients for return to work, recommending tests, and performing surgeries as needed.

  • Requirements: MD/DO from an accredited institution, unrestricted PA license, board certification in Orthopedic Surgery, favorable malpractice history, BLS/ACLS, DEA license, and PA residency.

  • Ideal candidates possess excellent communication, organizational, and patient management skills, with the ability to mentor staff. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 20 lbs., and various physical activities.
