We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care, complementing your current practice. This role involves treating patients during a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift.
Our specialists manage complex cases, facilitate return to work, and collaborate with medical and therapy teams to deliver non-surgical and surgical care for orthopedic and musculoskeletal injuries. You will also communicate with employers and participate in case management.
Responsibilities include flexible scheduling, approximately half a day per week or biweekly, with compensation based on a revenue share model.
Qualifications:
• Experience with work-related injuries preferred
• State licensure and unrestricted DEA license
• MD or DO graduate from accredited program
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
• Malpractice insurance coverage required
