We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care, complementing your current practice. The role involves treating patients during approximately 4-hour shifts weekly or biweekly.
Our specialists manage complex cases, expedite return to work, and collaborate with medical and therapy providers to deliver surgical and non-surgical care for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. You will also communicate with employers and participate in case management.
Responsibilities include flexible scheduling, typically half a day per week or biweekly, with compensation based on a revenue share model.
Qualifications:
– Experience in work-related injuries preferred
– License in your state of practice
– MD or DO graduate from an accredited university
– Unrestricted DEA license
– Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
– Malpractice insurance coverage while on site
