We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care at our location. This flexible role involves treating patients during approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, complementing your existing practice.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, facilitating return to work, and providing both non-surgical and surgical orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal care. You’ll collaborate with medical and therapy teams, communicate with employers, and participate in case management to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Experience with work-related injuries preferred
- State licensure and unrestricted DEA license
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
- Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage
