Exceptional Pediatric Anesthesiologist opportunity offering complex, high-acuity cases in a supportive team environment with a $100,000 sign-on bonus, potentially more for fellows.

Located at a leading children’s hospital in Greenville, NC, the role involves managing anesthesia for infants to adolescents across diverse pediatric procedures, including surgery, diagnostics, and outpatient services.

Responsibilities include pre-op assessments, anesthesia planning, monitoring, pain management, and family communication. The position also offers opportunities to maintain adult skills due to the hospital’s size.

Caseload exceeds 4,000 pediatric cases annually, covering general, neurosurgery, plastics, orthopedics, ENT, urology, and transplant, with additional offsite pediatric anesthesia.

Flexible scheduling with minimal call (1-2 days/week), mostly pediatric backup, averaging 40-45 hours/week, with some overnight shifts.

Competitive salary ($550K-$600K), comprehensive benefits, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and CME allowance.

Requirements include MD/DO, completed or ongoing pediatric anesthesia fellowship, BC/BE in Anesthesiology, and NC medical license.
