Job Description
The Pediatrician provides primary healthcare services to patients, including medical history review, exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
- Perform physical exams, interpret data, and establish diagnoses.
- Order labs, administer immunizations, medications, and sutures.
- Educate patients and families on health, illness prevention, and treatment plans.
- Respond to emergency situations, monitor ongoing care, and participate in team-based patient management.
- Document patient progress, collaborate with staff, and participate in quality improvement and professional development activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, organizational policies, and confidentiality standards.
- Support community resource linkage, emergency preparedness, and patient self-management.
Qualifications include an M.D. or D.O. with residency training, NY State medical license, and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.
