Job Description
The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults, focusing on wellness, illness prevention, and health education.
Assess and diagnose health conditions, develop care plans, and manage both acute and chronic illnesses.
Deliver culturally-sensitive, family-centered care with an emphasis on growth, development, and health promotion.
Educate patients and families on health, medications, and preventive strategies, ensuring informed decision-making.
Coordinate care, facilitate referrals, and ensure quality through chart reviews and adherence to guidelines.
Participate in on-call rotations, treat patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, and oversee Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Maintain licensure and prescribing authority per state and federal regulations.
Qualifications include a Doctorate in Medicine, Board certification or eligibility, and a valid FL Medical License. New graduates are welcome.
