Job Description
We are seeking a Traumatic Brain Injury Physician to conduct non-treatment compensation and pension exams for Veterans with TBI disabilities.
Qualifications include completion of Residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology, Neurosurgery, or Psychiatry. Responsibilities involve performing approximately 30-minute to 1-hour exams, completing web-based documentation (DBQ), and participating in training sessions. No ongoing care or medication prescribing required. Exams can be scheduled flexibly, with options for in-person meetings at designated or preferred locations. Must attend a comprehensive VA Disability training in Oceanside, CA, scheduled for February 1-6, 2026. This role offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay ($200-$400/hour), and is ideal for healthcare professionals interested in non-clinical military medicine opportunities. Candidates should hold a medical license, have completed the specified residency, and be located within 50-100 miles of Grand Rapids, MI.
