Job Description
This full-time position involves conducting psychiatric evaluations, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and monitoring patient progress. The role requires collaboration with healthcare teams and educating patients and families about mental health. Candidates must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license with a specialization in psychiatric-mental health, a Master’s in Nursing, and certification as a PMHNP.
Skills include proficiency in psychiatric evaluations, medical terminology, and staying current with psychiatric advancements. Strong communication, teamwork, and familiarity with electronic medical records and HIPAA regulations are essential.
