Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner – Orthopedic Total Joint

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated *Physician Assistant (PA-C)/Nurse Practitioner* to join our orthopedic team focusing on total joint replacement (hip and knee).

Conduct preoperative evaluations and optimize patient health for joint surgeries

Assist in the operating room during total hip and knee replacements

Perform inpatient rounding, discharge planning, and postoperative follow-up

Manage outpatient clinics, including evaluations and routine care

Educate patients on procedures, recovery, and medications

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications and therapies

Participate in quality improvement and research initiatives

Maintain accurate medical documentation in the EMR system

Qualifications include current licensure, NCCPA or board certification, DEA registration, and relevant experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

This full-time role offers a salary range of $105,000 – $180,000 plus benefits such as 401(k), insurance, flexible schedule, and paid time off.

Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Bakersfield, CA, and work in person.
