Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner PRN (weekends and some weekdays)

Job Description

This full-time Medical Provider role involves evaluating and treating urgent care patients, injured workers, and performing physicals (work, sports, DOT).

Responsibilities include managing acute minor illnesses, injuries, minor procedures (laceration repair, splints, excisions), stabilizing serious conditions, coordinating transfers, and providing follow-up care.

Additional duties encompass interpreting lab/radiology tests, documenting encounters, billing, responding to hospital and emergency codes, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations. The provider may serve as shift leader and collaborate with staff and external providers.

Qualifications include licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, with at least two years of independent experience in primary, urgent, or emergency care. Must maintain current certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS), and possess strong diagnostic, multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Compensation ranges from $93,600 to $140,000 annually, with benefits such as health/dental insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more. The job requires in-person work in Pocatello, ID, with relocation prior to start.
