Job Description

The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.

  • Provides specialized wound care services in home settings, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
  • Performs assessments, develops care plans, and educates patients and caregivers to promote healing.
  • Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, NP licensure, and wound care certification within 6 months.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an NP, PA, MD, or DO, with active patient contact preferred.
  • Position involves physical effort, fieldwork, and travel, with adherence to safety protocols.
  • Key responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, supervision, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
