Job Description
The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.
Provides specialized wound care services in home settings, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Performs assessments, develops care plans, and educates patients and caregivers to promote healing. Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, NP licensure, and wound care certification within 6 months. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an NP, PA, MD, or DO, with active patient contact preferred. Position involves physical effort, fieldwork, and travel, with adherence to safety protocols. Key responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, supervision, documentation, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
