Job Description

Seeking a *Primary Care Physician* in *Jena, LA* to oversee clinical operations at an ICE detention facility.

**Duties include:**
– Providing direct patient care to detainees of all ages
– Developing and coordinating healthcare services
– Supervising medical staff and advanced practice providers
– Conducting assessments, managing referrals, and responding to emergencies
– Ensuring documentation compliance and participating in quality improvement activities
– Maintaining licensure, certifications, and confidentiality

**Requirements:**
– MD or DO degree from an accredited program
– Valid, unrestricted medical license in Louisiana
– DEA license and basic life support certification
– At least 1 year of direct patient care experience
– Preferred experience in correctional or detention healthcare
