Job Description

The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO/NP) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.

  • Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living settings, managing chronic wounds and skin conditions.
  • Performs assessments, develops care plans, educates patients/caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure healing.
  • Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, current licensure, wound care certification within 6 months, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Field-based role involving travel (~25%), physical effort, and exposure to biohazards, with adherence to safety protocols.
  • Key duties include wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and coordination of care.
  • Must have strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently in varying environments.
