Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO/NP) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.
Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living settings, managing chronic wounds and skin conditions. Performs assessments, develops care plans, educates patients/caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure healing. Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, current licensure, wound care certification within 6 months, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Field-based role involving travel (~25%), physical effort, and exposure to biohazards, with adherence to safety protocols. Key duties include wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and coordination of care. Must have strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently in varying environments.
