Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.
Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living settings, managing complex skin conditions. Performs assessments, develops care plans, educates patients and caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams. Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, licensure as MD/DO, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Must complete Wound Care Certification within 6 months and have strong assessment, procedural, and communication skills. Position involves physical effort, travel (up to 25%), and adherence to safety protocols, including exposure to biohazards. Key responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, supervision, documentation, and coordination of care.
