Job Description

The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.

  • Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living settings, managing complex skin conditions.
  • Performs assessments, develops care plans, educates patients and caregivers, and collaborates with healthcare teams.
  • Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, licensure as MD/DO, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must complete Wound Care Certification within 6 months and have strong assessment, procedural, and communication skills.
  • Position involves physical effort, travel (up to 25%), and adherence to safety protocols, including exposure to biohazards.
  • Key responsibilities include wound assessment, treatment, supervision, documentation, and coordination of care.
