Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.
Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Performs assessments, develops care plans, and educates patients and caregivers. Collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure optimal healing outcomes. Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, active licensure, and wound care certification within 6 months. Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an NP, PA, MD, or DO preferred, with recent patient contact. Must be physically capable of fieldwork, including lifting and mobility tasks, and possess reliable transportation. Position involves travel (~25%), adherence to safety protocols, and strong assessment and communication skills.
