Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises Nurses & Medical Assistants.
Job Summary: Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, performing assessments, creating care plans, educating patients/caregivers, and collaborating with healthcare teams to promote healing.
Qualifications: Master’s or Doctoral Nursing degree, licensed MD/DO, Wound Care Certification within 6 months, minimum 2 years of relevant experience, and the ability to work independently.
Physical & Mental Requirements: Involves physical effort, field-based travel, and adherence to safety protocols; requires emotional stability, strong assessment skills, and adaptability.
Essential Functions: Conduct wound assessments, deliver treatments, supervise staff, document interactions, coordinate care, and ensure compliance with policies and HIPAA.
