Job Description

The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.

  • Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
  • Conducts assessments, develops care plans, and educates patients and caregivers.
  • Collaborates with healthcare teams to promote healing and optimal outcomes.
  • Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, active state licensure, and wound care certification within 6 months.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience and ability to work independently in diverse environments.
  • Field-based role involving physical activity, travel, and exposure to biohazards, necessitating reliable transportation and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Performs wound assessments, treatments, supervises staff, maintains documentation, and ensures compliance with policies and HIPAA.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and adaptability skills are essential.
