Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.
Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Conducts assessments, develops care plans, and educates patients and caregivers. Collaborates with healthcare teams to promote healing and optimal outcomes. Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, active state licensure, and wound care certification within 6 months. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience and ability to work independently in diverse environments. Field-based role involving physical activity, travel, and exposure to biohazards, necessitating reliable transportation and adherence to safety protocols. Performs wound assessments, treatments, supervises staff, maintains documentation, and ensures compliance with policies and HIPAA.
