Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises Nurses & Medical Assistants.
Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, including assessments, care planning, and patient education. Works independently in the field, managing complex wounds and collaborating with healthcare teams. Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, valid licensure, at least 2 years of clinical experience, and wound care certification within 6 months. Must be physically able to perform site visits, lift patients, and travel within the region, with reliable transportation. Key duties include wound assessment, treatment, supervision of staff, documentation, and adherence to safety protocols.
