Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises nurses and medical assistants.
Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Performs assessments, develops care plans, and educates patients and caregivers. Collaborates with healthcare team members to ensure optimal healing outcomes. Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, licensure as MD/DO, and wound care certification within 6 months. Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience; active patient contact preferred. Must meet physical, mental, and transportation requirements; travel within the region is necessary. Key duties include wound evaluation, treatment administration, supervising staff, documentation, and coordination of care.
