Physician – Obstetrics

Job Description

The staff Obstetrics physician provides outpatient care, diagnosing and treating common acute and chronic conditions, performing procedures, and referring to specialists as needed.

Responsibilities include managing a target of 20 patients daily, handling walk-ins, and providing afterhours phone support, with a rotating call schedule approximately every 7-8 weeks.

Essential duties involve supporting organizational values, prioritizing workload, delivering professional patient care, documenting thoroughly, and adhering to clinical guidelines such as ACOG standards.

Qualifications include MD or DO, active California medical license, board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN, and completion of residency. Preferred experience includes ambulatory practice, medical home models, and bilingual skills.

Candidate must demonstrate strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, proficiency in EMR systems, and flexibility to work across multiple sites and hours, including evenings and weekends.
