Job Description
The Obstetrics Physician provides outpatient care, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions per ACOG guidelines, including OB-related illnesses and injuries.
Responsibilities include examining patients, ordering tests, performing procedures, and referring to specialists. Outpatient duties target 20 patients daily, with afterhours call responsibilities (~1 week every 7-8 weeks).
Key duties involve supporting organizational values, delivering excellent patient service, documentation, clinical assessments, and developing treatment plans.
Qualifications include MD/DO, OB/GYN certification, licensure in California, and residency completion. Preferred experience includes ambulatory care, medical Spanish, and patient-centered models.
Skills encompass communication, computer proficiency, leadership, and cultural sensitivity. The role requires flexibility, professionalism, and adherence to regulatory standards.
