Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist provides comprehensive speech, language, swallowing, and hearing assessments and treatments for all age groups within the Special Education services Program.
Demonstrates expertise in language development, assessment, and intervention strategies.
Develops and implements individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals, collaborating with classroom staff and support teams.
Provides direct speech therapy services, including evaluations, screenings, and community-based treatments.
Prepares documentation, billing, and Medicaid forms accurately and timely.
Offers training to staff and families on communication tools and strategies.
Participates in parent conferences, team meetings, and community events, and provides supervision for CFY candidates.
Assists with transitioning children to new environments and supports inclusive classroom programming.
Engages in ongoing professional development and committee participation to enhance service delivery.
