Job Description
The Speech Language Pathologist conducts assessments and provides speech, language, swallowing, and hearing treatments for children across all age groups within the Special Education services Program.
Demonstrates expertise in language development, assessment, and intervention strategies.
Collaborates with staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and supports inclusive classroom programming.
Prepares and delivers both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to children’s goals.
Provides services at community sites, including homes, and offers training to families and staff on communication equipment.
Maintains accurate documentation, manages billing and Medicaid forms, and participates in meetings, trainings, and community events.
Assists in transitioning children to new environments and supports their independence and social-emotional development.
Supervises CFY candidates and provides service coordination for eligible children.
Engages in outreach, assessments, screenings, and collaboration with parents, staff, and community partners.
Full-time position with a salary of $67,000–$69,000 annually, offering comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
