Job Description

The Speech Language Pathologist conducts assessments and provides speech, language, swallowing, and hearing treatments for children across all age groups within the Special Education services Program.

  • Demonstrates expertise in language development, assessment, and intervention strategies.
  • Collaborates with staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and supports inclusive classroom programming.
  • Prepares and delivers both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to children’s goals.
  • Provides services at community sites, including homes, and offers training to families and staff on communication equipment.
  • Maintains accurate documentation, manages billing and Medicaid forms, and participates in meetings, trainings, and community events.
  • Assists in transitioning children to new environments and supports their independence and social-emotional development.
  • Supervises CFY candidates and provides service coordination for eligible children.
  • Engages in outreach, assessments, screenings, and collaboration with parents, staff, and community partners.
  • Full-time position with a salary of $67,000–$69,000 annually, offering comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more.
