Primary Care Physician — Building Stronger Communities Together

Job Description

Seeking a Physician at a Federally Qualified Health Center in Lansing, MI, offering full-time or part-time positions with flexible employment options (W-2 or 1099).

Provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care across all ages, emphasizing underserved populations

Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, oversee residents and students, and promote preventive care

Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, and mental health conditions, perform routine procedures, and deliver health education

Ensure culturally sensitive, trauma-informed care and address social determinants of health

Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to regulations, and support quality improvement initiatives

Participate in community outreach, staff training, and continuing education

Qualifications: MD/DO, residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, active license, board eligibility, commitment to underserved populations, and mental health competence. Preferred experience in community health settings and population health.

Compensation & Benefits: $240k-$260k, with insurance, loan repayment, PTO, CME, malpractice coverage, and more. Expect 20-40 hours/week in person.
