Primary Care Physician MD/DO

Job Description

Seeking a primary care physician (family medicine boarded preferred) for a position at a contracted inpatient behavioral hospital in Hollywood Park, San Antonio, TX.

This role involves performing medical history and physicals, consults, and follow-ups, with all new patients seen within 24 hours of admission.

The provider manages basic medical conditions such as blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes (with provided sliding scale), and abnormal labs. Work hours are typically 8-hour shifts, promoting a better work-life balance compared to traditional hospital roles.

Limited on-call duties involve managing medical issues remotely without returning to the facility and supervising PAs and NPs.
