Job Description

We are seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for an 8-hour/week role (Tues, Wed, Fri).

  • Provide urgent care and occupational health services to a diverse patient population.
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage acute illnesses, injuries, and work-related conditions.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, and basic treatments.
  • Order and interpret labs and imaging, including X-rays.
  • Conduct health evaluations, promote wellness, and facilitate patient return to work.
  • Document all care accurately in the EMR.

    • Requirements include an active West Virginia NP or PA license, BLS certification, at least 3 years of experience as an NP/PA, and 4+ years in urgent care or emergency medicine. Occupational medicine experience and NRCME/CDL-DOT certifications are a plus. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
