PRN Outpatient Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC)

Job Description

Seeking a *PRN Outpatient Licensed Addiction Counselor* to provide therapy for adults in PHP and IOP programs.

Evaluate patients’ chemical dependency history, document symptoms, and develop treatment plans.

Conduct group therapy, and possibly individual or family therapy, based on treatment objectives.

Coordinate care with providers and referral sources, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

Monitor patient progress, re-evaluate, and share observations with the multidisciplinary team.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety protocols, including duty to warn when necessary.

Requirements: ND Licensure as an Addiction Counselor, Bachelor’s in addiction studies or related field, strong communication skills, and ability to handle stressful situations.

Details: Part-time, $34+ per hour, Monday-Friday during business hours, based at our St. Genevieve’s Place campus. Limited opportunities to work with youth in outpatient settings.
