PRN Recreational/Expressive Therapist (CERT. REQUIRED)

Job Description

Seeking part-time therapists in recreational, art, or music therapy for a 125-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital in Bowling Green, KY.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, relevant certification or eligibility for certification, and at least 2 years of related experience, preferably with psychiatric patients.

Responsibilities involve supporting treatment programs, documenting therapy sessions, assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, providing group therapy, and assisting with discharge planning.

Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of developmental stages, addiction treatment principles, and ethical standards. Experience with mental health, chemical dependency, and age-specific therapies is preferred.
