Job Description

The PRN Speech Therapist role involves providing home-based assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive disorders for older adults across multiple locations in Illinois.

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of communication and cognitive impairments.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to improve speech, language, voice, and cognitive functions.
  • Educate patients and families on exercises, strategies, and techniques to enhance communication and manage deficits.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Stay current with advancements in speech therapy through ongoing education.

    • Qualifications include a Master’s degree, valid licensure, and strong communication skills. The position offers flexible scheduling, mileage compensation, and pay ranging from $37.00 to $53.00 per hour. Candidates must be able to work independently, commute within Saint Clair County, IL, and have a passion for helping diverse patient populations.
