PRN Speech Therapist (SLP) in Dayton Metro

Job Description

We are seeking a Speech Therapist (SLP) for flexible PRN shifts in Dayton, Miamisburg, Kettering, and Beavercreek.

Summary:
The SLP evaluates patients’ needs in a home care setting, develops treatment plans, and delivers therapy services. They collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, physicians, and stakeholders to ensure quality patient care.

Primary Responsibilities:
– Establish and support patient goals through assessments and test interpretations.
– Develop and document treatment plans in consultation with the care team and physicians.
– Prepare signed plans with clinical findings, goals, and rehab potential.
– Manage discharge planning, including follow-up care and equipment recommendations.
– Participate in case conferences and document care services.
– Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
– Minimum 2 years of speech therapy experience, preferably in acute or post-acute settings.
– Active state licensure in speech-language pathology.
– Current CPR certification, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
