Job Description

Position: Program Physician – Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Doctor

This role is an independent contractor based in Pharr, TX, at an accredited SUD treatment center.

  • Provide medical care to patients aged 18+ with opioid addiction, including physical exams and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with a clinical team, counseling, and community services to support patient recovery.
  • Participate in intake, medication management, and patient discharge processes.
  • Follow federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining patient confidentiality.


  • Qualifications: Active Texas Medical License, DEA license, one year of narcotic treatment experience, Texas ID. Preferred: Addiction training or board certification.
