Job Description
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist for a part-time role (10–20 hours/week) in a compassionate, patient-centered behavioral health organization in Thomaston, GA.
Position Overview: Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment oversight for adult and adolescent clients in IOP/PHP programs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and review individualized care plans, ensuring trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct evaluations and manage medications
- Collaborate with team members to develop treatment plans
- Provide clinical supervision and consultation
- Maintain documentation per regulatory standards
- Participate in team meetings to monitor client progress
Qualifications: MD or DO, active GA medical license, DEA license, and relevant experience, especially with IOP/PHP or dual-diagnosis populations. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are required.
Compensation & Benefits: $60,000–$80,000/year, flexible hours, with benefits including health, dental, vision, and life insurance. The role offers a collaborative work environment, with in-person work expected.
