Job Description

We are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist for a full-time, onsite role in Alton, IL. The position offers a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule with no weekends, holidays, or after-hours call, providing predictable hours in a secure clinical setting. The average caseload is approximately 22 patients per day.

Compensation includes an hourly rate of $210–$225, with an estimated annual salary of $450,000–$470,000.

Responsibilities involve psychiatric evaluations, medication management, documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications include an MD or DO, active Illinois license, DEA, and experience in inpatient psychiatry preferred.

This role provides stability, strong compensation, and a balanced schedule without on-call duties.
