Seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist for a full-time, onsite role in Alton, IL. This position offers a predictable weekday schedule
and no call, weekends, or holidays, providing a stable work environment.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 37.5 hours/week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Work in a secure inpatient setting with an average caseload of ~22 patients/day.
Compensation: $210–$225/hour; estimated annual salary of $450,000–$470,000.
Responsibilities: Conduct psychiatric evaluations, manage medications, document progress, collaborate with a treatment team, and participate in clinical reviews.
Qualifications: MD or DO, active Illinois medical license, DEA, and Illinois Controlled Substance license; inpatient psychiatry experience preferred.
