Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Psychiatrist for a contract position within the Massachusetts Department of Corrections, with potential to become permanent.
Provide onsite psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, and medication management for inmates.
Offer psychiatric consultations, develop and monitor treatment plans, and oversee discharge processes.
Supervise and train site staff, participate in treatment planning, and provide in-service education.
Manage admissions and discharges, and collaborate with Behavioral Health Unit staff as needed.
Qualifications include medical school graduation, completion of psychiatric residency, licensure in Massachusetts, and a current DEA number.
