Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Psychiatrist for a contract position within the Massachusetts Department of Corrections, with potential to become permanent.
Provide onsite psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management for inmates.
Supervise and train site staff, approve treatment plans, and monitor their implementation.
Conduct inpatient and outpatient assessments, develop discharge plans, and offer individual or group therapy as needed.
Participate in treatment planning, staff education, and team meetings, ensuring quality mental health care.
Must be licensed in Michigan, with a medical degree, completed psychiatric residency, and current DEA registration.
