Job Description

The Behavioral Health Division is seeking an Outpatient Psychiatrist to provide at least 16 hours per week of psychiatric services to individuals with severe mental health challenges.

  • The ideal candidate will be compassionate, collaborative, and have at least three years of outpatient psychiatric experience.
  • This role involves medical assessments and supervising patients on therapeutic medications.
  • The psychiatrist will work within a supportive interdisciplinary team offering comprehensive administrative support, including nursing, dictation, and clinical consultation.
  • Contractors are compensated hourly, must hold an active Oregon Medical License, DEA Certificate, DMAP number, and own liability insurance; fringe benefits are not provided.
  • In-person work in Salem, OR, with relocation required before starting.
