Job Description

The Behavioral Health Division is seeking an experienced Outpatient Psychiatrist to provide at least 16 hours per week of psychiatric services for individuals with severe mental health challenges.

  • Ideal candidates will be compassionate, collaborative, and have a minimum of three years of outpatient psychiatric experience.
  • The role involves conducting medical assessments and supervising therapeutic medication management within an interdisciplinary, person-centered team.
  • Comprehensive administrative support, including nursing, dictation, and clinical consultation, is provided.
  • This is an independent contractor position, paid hourly, requiring an Oregon Medical License, DEA certification, DMAP number, and professional liability insurance.
  • Work is in person in Salem, OR, with 16–32 hours per week expected.
