Job Description

This position involves diagnosing and treating emotional and psychiatric disorders across a diverse patient population, including those with chronic mental illness, dual diagnosis, and substance abuse, to promote independence.

Essential duties include conducting assessments, prescribing and monitoring medications, providing psychotherapy, and collaborating with care teams. The role requires a Doctorate in medicine, licensure, and experience in mental health, with the ability to prescribe buprenorphine preferred.

The work environment involves moderate noise, with physical demands and safety precautions in place. The position is contract-based, offering $200-$245/hour, with 25-30 hours/week, based in Raleigh, NC, requiring in-person work and relocation. Evening, weekend, and holiday emergency availability is expected.
