Job Description

Seeking a part-time Psychiatrist for a 3-day/week role at an outpatient clinic serving high-risk, severely mentally ill populations with co-occurring disorders.

  • Focus on helping patients achieve SMI goals with strong nurse and multidisciplinary team support.
  • Participate in daily team meetings to develop biopsychosocial treatment plans.
  • Document visits in EMR to meet 50% productivity goals.
  • Work primarily in-person at the Escondido clinic, with occasional community field visits.
  • Require California Medical License, Board Eligibility in Adult Psychiatry, and eligibility for Medicare & Medi-Cal.
  • Schedule includes team meetings, protected charting time, and 6 hours of patient visits daily.
  • Compensation is $200/hour with up to $14,000 annual bonus, plus PSLF eligibility.
