Job Description

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Gastroenterology provides patient-centered care under physician supervision in a clinical setting.

Assess, diagnose, and manage gastrointestinal and liver conditions, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.

Prescribe medications and therapies, educate patients on disease management, and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to clinical and legal standards, and participate in quality initiatives.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing, an active Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology.

The role requires two 8-hour onsite shifts weekly, with potential additional hours, in a clinical environment. Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist patients is needed.

Candidates must be willing to relocate to Farwell, TX, before starting.
