Job Description

Seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology to provide comprehensive patient care under physician supervision in Lubbock, TX.

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage gastrointestinal and liver conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and educate patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications.

Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care and maintain accurate documentation.

Perform assessments during two weekly on-site shifts, with potential for additional hours.

Qualifications include a Master’s or higher in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national NP certification, and at least 1 year of experience. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.

Physical requirements include standing, walking, and lifting within safety guidelines. The role involves working in a clinical environment with biohazard exposure. Relocation to Farwell, TX, is required before starting.
