Job Description
This part-time Nurse Practitioner position in Gastroenterology involves providing comprehensive patient care under physician supervision.
Assess, diagnose, and manage gastrointestinal and liver conditions, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and educate patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of experience, preferably in gastroenterology.
Work schedule is two days per week on-site, with potential for additional shifts, requiring physical stamina and adherence to safety standards.
