Job Description
The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides patient-centered care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, Texas.
Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages gastrointestinal and liver conditions, performing assessments, ordering tests, and developing treatment plans. Prescribes medications and therapies, educates patients on disease management, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team for optimal outcomes. Maintains accurate documentation, adheres to clinical and legal standards, and participates in staff meetings and quality initiatives. Requires a Master’s degree in Nursing, an active Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology.
Schedule includes two days per week, with potential for additional shifts, on-site in-person work, and physical ability to perform clinical tasks.
Relocation to Farwell, TX is required before starting.
