Radiation Oncologist

Job Description

We are seeking a Per Diem Radiation Oncologist to provide high-quality cancer care during absences or peak periods.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing examinations and diagnostic evaluations to confirm cancer diagnoses.
• Developing and implementing individualized radiation treatment plans, including advanced procedures like stereotactic radiosurgery.
• Monitoring patient progress and providing pharmacological management and lifestyle counseling.
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered treatment.

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited Radiation Oncology residency.
• Board Certified or Eligible in Radiation Oncology.
• Experience with oncology diagnosis and treatment, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills.
• Compassionate with a patient-focused approach and ability to work effectively in a team.

Pay starts at $2,000 per day. The position is in person and offers flexible coverage as needed.
