Radiologist needed for FT, 1 year+ contract

Job Description

Seeking a full-time radiologist for a minimum 1-year contract at the VA in Columbia, SC, with an immediate start upon credentialing.

Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with on-call coverage evenings and weekends. The role involves general and interventional radiology procedures, including ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and IR, with responsibilities such as consultation, clinical decision-making, post-procedure follow-up, and patient education.

Administrative duties include peer reviews, quality improvement activities, staff meetings, and patient safety compliance. The radiologist will also participate in specialized meetings and document QA/QI activities.

Compensation is $240/hour, with paid malpractice, weekly pay, and relocation assistance. Requirements include state radiation licensure and board certification in radiology. The position involves in-person work and offers benefits focused on professional practice and patient safety.
