Job Description

Full-time radiologist position for a minimum 1-year contract working with the VA in Columbia, SC, starting ASAP after credentialing.


  • Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday; on-call evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Scope includes general and interventional radiology procedures: diagnostic imaging, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiography.
  • Responsibilities: consults with physicians, review of cases, post-procedure follow-up, patient education, and participation in quality improvement, staff meetings, peer reviews, and safety protocols.
  • Estimated 5% administrative time; compliance with patient safety and documentation standards required.
  • Pay: $240/hr, paid weekly, with malpractice coverage, and relocation assistance.
  • Requirements: Radiation license (any state), Board Certification in Radiology.
