Job Description
Seeking a full-time radiologist for a minimum 1-year contract working at the VA in Columbia, SC, starting as soon as credentialed.
Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday; on-call evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Scope includes diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures: ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and IR, with responsibilities for consultations, treatment plans, follow-ups, and post-procedure evaluations.
Approximately 5% administrative duties, including peer reviews, quality improvement activities, staff meetings, and patient safety reporting.
Must follow all safety, infection control, and medication policies; no sample medications provided.
Compensation is $240/hour, with paid malpractice, weekly pay, and relocation assistance.
Requirements: Radiation licensure (any state) and Board Certification in Radiology.
Work involves in-person duties with a focus on clinical excellence, safety, and team collaboration.
