Recreation Therapist – CTRS – Full Time

Join our growing team at a psychiatric care facility in Detroit, MI, serving adults 18+ with acute psychiatric conditions.

The CTRS provides Recreation Therapy services, including assessments, treatment planning, therapeutic activities, and discharge leisure planning.

Responsibilities include using individual and group activities to enhance cognitive, physical, social, and psychosocial functioning, developing coping skills, and offering post-discharge leisure resources.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Therapeutic Recreation and NCTRC certification (required)
• Experience in psychiatric settings preferred
• Basic computer skills and effective communication in English; additional languages a plus
